This variant of the Qashqai promises to be the most powerful production Qashqai ever produced. Powered by a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine, the engine in this e-power variant acts as a generator which powers the electric motor. The power goes through a single speed automatic, the front wheels are only powered by electricity and not the petrol engine. Acceleration is fairly brisk at 7.6 seconds (in sport mode) whilst fuel economy is claimed at 61.4 mpg. The turning circle is 11.5m, which is fair for this class of vehicle.
This test car is in N-Connecta trim with Glass Roof, which means that this Qashqai is well equipped. Total price of this car £38,825 (including the optional £745 Magnetic Blue paint). Check out the full video on the CarsofGlasgow YouTube channel.
