For the final year that the Lexus LC was offered in the UK, the LC received a facelift. The car features new exterior paint colours, such as Sonic Copper as well as an updated interior. The facelift LC models now feature the current Lexus touchscreen media interface, which means the touch control pad from the outgoing model has been ditched. Technology upgrades include 360 degree cameras and higher resolution graphics on screen. I test drove the Lexus LC 500 convertible, which was the 'base' model with the Mark Levinson sound system option added. Whilst the Coupe is available as a hybrid and a V8, the Convertible's sole engine is a 5.0l V8, 2UR-GSE. The V8 puts out 457 bhp and can reach 60mph in 4.7 seconds. The Lexus LBX joins the Lexus line up for 2024 as a whole new model and it is the second Lexus to feature three letters in its name since the LFA supercar. The LBX is a compact crossover that sits below the popular UX model. Currently the LBX is hybrid only and it is based on the Toyota Yaris Cross. Which means it uses a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine, coupled with the hybrid technology to produce an economical and relatively smooth driving vehicle. Prices start from just under £30,000 in the UK for a base 'Urban' trim and can creep just above £40,000 for a top of the range model with optional paint.
Boot space is impressive for its size, boasting 400 litres, which is more than its larger sibling the UX. The interior feels well screwed together and there is a touchscreen in the centre that features Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

The Lexus NX is a compact luxury SUV best known for its hybrid powertrain and reliability. This second generation NX is priced from just under £45,000 and is a 'self driving' hybrid. Which means unlike its more powerful variant, the NX 450h+, there is no need to plug in the 350h model. Power comes from an economical 4 cylinder petrol engine, coupled with the electrified powertrain to provide over 40mpg in the real world whilst offering a smooth driving experience.
