The current generation of Abarth 500e is based heavily off of the current Fiat 500e, an all electric compact city car. The Abarth is the sportier cousin offering more power, around 34bhp increase over the 500e, bold styling and an external speaker mounted on the rear to emulate a combustion engine exhaust tone. The previous Abarth 595 was known for its loud exhaust, it appears for this generation Abarth wanted that personality trait to be carried over.
The interior is surprisingly pleasant with suede feeling materials across the dashboard and steering wheel, which has a blue race line marker. The doors feel light and low quality, however is there an easter egg of an original Fiat 500 etched into the door handle.
