For a brief period in time, Genesis offered their compact executive car here in the UK. Known as the G70, it was based on the KIA Stinger and it was offered with a range of petrol engines or this 2.2l diesel engine. This compact executive offers a plush interior filled with physical knobs and switchgear. This test car is fitted with the optional inovation pack, so the car features a novel 3D instrument display as well as a heads up display. Interestingly, for those looking for more practicality, there was a shooting brake variant briefly offered. The Genesis G80 has been revised, for the UK market the G80 is only available as a fully electric as well as being stretched with the rear offering 130mm compared to the pre facelift.

The interior showcases a 27 inch OLED display, combining the infotainment and the drivers display. The sound system is fantastic, a 17 speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo with Dolby Atmos. 

The 2025 G80 electrified features a larger 94.5 kWh battery, claiming 354 miles of range. The car can charge at 187 kW, which equates to 10-80% charge in 25 minutes.

Genesis have revised the GV70 for 2025, meet the new Genesis GV70 electrified. An all electric luxury SUV with power going to all four wheels. All models come with a heat pump as standard and there are three trim levels to choose from. This test car is a top of the range luxury model with optional packs. This test car is priced just under £80,000.
