This is the Polestar 3 Launch Edition.
This is the 111kWh launch edition P3 that claims 370miles+ range, I was seeing around 220 miles (with 89% charge).
The interior is incredible, very plush and the technology is very Tesla esque from the beach buggy game to the 3D render models of cars that pop up on the screen whilst you drive, that look like 2nd gen Range Rover Sports to me. The seats up front have massagers and various modes to use, they last 20 minutes per session per massage type.
Boot space in the rear was a decent size and the back seat area can accommodate adults fairly well. The rear armrest in particular is a work of art (see photos).
Out on the road the P3 is punch and hides its 2,660kg well, and the 22" rims didn't harm the ride too badly, particular on our notoriously badly maintained Scottish roads. This car is around £94,000 and it is for sale immediately, the Polestar space has sold quite a few already.
If you are looking for a luxurious riding and plush 2 row family vehicle it is worth considering.
2024 Tesla Model Y Dual Motor Review
This is the 2024 Tesla Model Y finished in the new Quicksilver paint option. The Model Y has proven to be one of the most popular cars in the globe and in 2023 it was the most popular new car sold globally. It was the first EV to achieve this.
The long range all wheel drive claims up to 331 miles of range and can launch to 60mph in 4.8 seconds. Prices in the UK start just over £44,990 and the long range all wheel drive is £52,990 before options.
Lexus UX 300e (2021) takumi review
This is the first electric vehicle that I drove, kindly supplied by Lexus Glasgow. The Lexus UX 300e is a compact crossover that offers a premium and solid interior cabin.

2024 Tesla Model 3 Highland - 1st Impressions
Driving the Tesla Model 3 is a different experience to any other EV that I have previously driven. In part due to the technology within the Model 3 and in part due to the design aesthetic on the interior. Tesla have optimised the interior and gone for a minimalism approach. The new Model 3 adds features such as mood lighting, ventilated seats and aucoustic glass.
The one pedal driving is a fantastic feature and it is amazing at how quickly you get used to it.
Thanks to Tesla UK for supplying this Model 3.

Following my previous Lexus UX 300e test drive, I was given the opportunity by Lexus Glasgow to drive the updated 2024 UX 300e. The updates include a larger battery, which equates to more range than the outgoing model.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e

2024 Polestar 2 Review
This was my first experience with Polestar and it was a premium experience. The car feels well built and the raised ride height was welcoming to family members that rode in the vehicle. The infotainment screen is touchscreen and easy to operate. The one pedal driving is a fantastic feature and it is amazing at how quickly you get used to it.
Polestar Scotland kindly provided this Polestar 2, located in the Silverburn shopping centre.

Citroen Ami Review
The Ami claims up to 46 miles of range and a top speed of 28 mph. However, don't let those numbers put you off. This is an ideal urban EV, its compact dimensions mean that it can manoeuvre traffic and tackle tight alleyways within the urban jungle.
